Voter Registration
You must be 18 years of age to register to vote. You may register to vote when you are 17 if you will become 18 in the 30 days prior to the next election.
You may register to vote at:
- Any State of Michigan Secretary of State office.
- The county clerk's office.
- The township clerk's office or by completing a registration application online, printing it and mailing it to either clerk's office.
When voting you will be required to present a valid photo identification provided by a government agency.
First time voters that register by mail, must vote in person.
If you are in need of an absentee ballot, you must contact the township clerk and request an application that must be completed prior to receiving a ballot. If that request in made in person, you must present a photo identification when completing the application.
All voting will take place at the Aetna Township Hall at 196 North Cass Street in Morley between the hours of 7 AM and 8 PM on any election day.
NOTICE OF EARLY VOTING SITE
AUGUST 6, 2024 PRIMARY ELECTION
Mecosta County early voting site is open for voters each day from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm beginning July 27, 2024 and ending August 4, 2924 at the location of Big Rapids Township Hall, 14230 Northland Drive, Big Rapids.
Notice is hearby given that the Precinct Canvass/Close of Polls for Mecosta County Early Voting site will take place on August 6, 2024 at 8:00 pm in the Mecosta County Courthouse Building, 400 Elm St Big Rapids.
Notice is further given that the Canvass of the Mecosta County Erly Voting site returns and all other precincts will take place beginning on August 7 2024 at 1L00 pm in the Mecosta County Courthouse Building, Con.Rooom B/C, 400 Elm St Big Rapids.
